What We Believe

God The Father

As revealed unto us by the Bible, we believe that there is only one God, Who is the Creator of both visible and invisible creatures -Gen. 1:1; Ps. 86:9-10; Is. 43:10-11; John 1:1-3. Only God will be in existence forever. Ez. 3:14; in God every creature receives life -John 5:26.

Jesus Christ

We believe that He is the Son of God; who took away our sins, and the Savior of the world. We also believe that Jesus is God and He was born by Mary the Virgin. He is God revealed in the flesh. Through Him all things were created. John 1:1-14; John 14:9; Matt. 1:18-25, Is 9:6; Is 53:5-6. We believe in His death on the Cross, and resurrection, by which He brought redemption – Is. 53:4-10; I Pet. 2:24; John 10:11; Gal. 3:13, Matt. 20:28; I Cor. 15:3; Rom. 4:25; II Cor. 5:14; Heb 2:9; Heb 9:26.

The Holy Spirit

The Holy Spirit is the third Person in the TRINITY. He has the same power, the same glory with God the Father and God the Son – John 14:16-17; John 15:26; Matt. 3:16; Acts 13:24. He is one with Father and the Son who is to be worshiped and served. Three Persons that become one are the source of blessings to all the living creatures in Heaven and on earth – Matt. 28:19; II Cor. 13:14; I John 1:5-7.

All born-again souls should ask for the Holy Spirit from above, as the Apostles were ordered to wait in Jerusalem until they were filled from above. It is the promise of the Father. It is God’s gift which He gives to those who obey Him – Luke 24:49; John 4:14-26; Acts 1:4-5; Acts 5:32; Acts 8:14-17.

The Holy Bible

We believe that the entire Scripture, both Old and New Testament are written by the inspiration of the Holy Spirit – II Tim. 3:16-17. All the Christian teachings and the Christian attitude of the Children of God are such as are established in the Holy Bible – II Tim. 3:10-15; II Peter 1:21; John 17:17; Ps. 119:105.

Baptism

We believe in baptism by the Name of the Father, Son and Holy Ghost – Matt. 28:19. Water baptism by immersion is a testimony of death to sin and resurrection to a new life in Christ Jesus.

Salvation

Is a gift from God through grace and faith in Jesus Christ, and thus those who believe and receive Jesus Christ by faith may be saved by turning from sin to repentance, are born of the Holy Spirit, and thus become children of God.

Our Core Values and Mandate

That man was created in the image and likeness of God to be fruitful, to multiply, to replenish the earth, to subdue it, and to have dominion over it.

The strength of our society is based on the unity of the family

The Christian family is the foundation of our Church. We are committed to providing an environment that encourages and strengthens the sanctity of marriage between a man and a woman. We promote raising godly children through Christian parenting principles where love prevails in the home according to the word of God.
We encourage single adults to engage in holy and godly courtship leading to marriage. Marriage is for life and we do not subscribe to divorce. We encourage all families in our Church to grow and walk in the fear of God. Scripture references: Matt 19:5-6; Heb 13:4; Proverbs 22:6; 1 Corinthians 7

We exhibit discipline and consistency in our walk with God and living by His Word. Scripture references: Philippians 4:8 Proverbs 10:9; Eph 5:15-16; Matt 24:45-46; 1 Corinthians 4:1

The way to greatness is through service

Our ministries provide an avenue for everyone to serve and impact our community for Christ by their actions and contributions. We encourage everybody to make themselves available for service. Scripture references: John 13:5-8; Matt 5:13; Matt 23:11; Luke 10:33-37

Equipping people for daily living

Jesus demonstrated the importance of equipping his followers through training for daily living and service to God. Likewise, we equip ourselves through constant training which covers life teachings and the doctrines of Christ such as Baptism and Repentance etc. The training we receive empowers us for daily living. Scripture references: Deuteronomy 4:5; Proverbs 4:4-7; John 8:2; Ephesians 4:14

Excellence honors God and inspires people

The excellence of God’s character and handwork is reflected on how we run our church. We strive to have every aspect of ministry done to the best of our ability. We are determined to continuously raise the standard of excellence in our worship and service to God. As such, we constantly measure, evaluate, and review our effectiveness in every area of ministry. We are committed to working together, using our unique gifts and abilities to accomplish what God has called us to do. Scripture Reference: Gen 1:26, 31; Heb. 11:4, Ephesians 4:16; 1 Corinthians 12:12-27

Creativity reflects God’s nature

Everyone has the creative ability of God within them and a unique purpose to fulfill on earth. As a Church we provide an environment that motivates and challenges people to develop, nurture and promote their God-given abilities. We challenge ourselves to think “out of the box” by continually reinventing ideas and programs so that we can be relevant to our generation. Scripture References: Genesis 1:1, 27; Psalm 19:1-3; Exodus 31:3-5

Everyone deserves another chance

We recognize that we are ALL forgiven people and we are not perfect. Therefore, we are committed in love and humility to restore people who have backslidden or fallen into sin; leading them back to Christ as they acknowledge their wrongs, confess their faults and amend their ways. We constantly emphasize that God hates sin. Scripture References: Galatians 6:1; Jude 1:22-23
